Extended Warranty After Uniden's First Year Coverage
The scanners we carry do come with a 1-year limited parts and labor warranty. As with most electronics, it does not cover accidental damage or liquid damage—just factory defects. After the manufacturer’s warranty expires you would have to pay out-of-pocket for any repairs or replacements should your unit malfunction. With the Bearcat Warehouse Extended Warranty, you'll have peace of mind that your scanner is still covered for an additional year.

This is a really good product i'm able to pick up all my local public safety frequencies and then some. This one needs programming before you scan so make sure you have someone program it if your a novice. I'm happy with this purchase I would buy a Uniden scanner again.

Yes, the BCD325P2 does cover this type of system.

Hi I am interested in your digital phase 2 handheld scanner. Is it easy to program manually?

Unfortunately, Programming digital scanners is difficult without experience. We recommend you use programming software or have the Radio pre-programmed before shipment.

How many counties will be preprogrammed for the customer if this scanner is purchased?

We can program up to 8 counties, we charge $70 for the first county & $35 per additional

Does the BCD325P2 scanner programmed with the Sentinel software?

The BCD325P2 doesn't come with any pre-programmed software. This one would require programming before use.  We do offer programming for this scanner.

If I was to buy the uniden BCD325P2 scanner and chose to pre program my countries codes (Australia). Will that include PMR frequencies as that is what all my local services use. Also to program the scanner does it need to be connected to a computer ...

With our county programming service, we only offer to program frequencies in the USA. Police, Fire & EMS frequencies would be included. The GPS Antenna will scan the frequencies you have pre-programmed into the radio and play them based on GPS location.

If the scanner detects batteries that cannot be charge, it displays “Battery Error.”

When battery icon flashes and the scanner beeps every 15 seconds, replace or recharge the batteries. The scanner has a built-in circuit that lets you recharge rechargeable batteries while they are in the scanner. When the scanner is turned on, the scanner will not charge the batteries. When the scanner is turned off, the scanner will charge the batteries. Plug the USB cable into the scanner when the scanner is off and “Battery Charge” - “Start Charging? Yes = “E”/ No = “.” will display. Press E/yes. The scanner displays “Normal Charging” and charges the batteries according to the “Set Charge Time” setting. When charging is finished “Charge Complete” will be displayed. Note that the charge is controlled strictly by a timer. It is impossible to detect the charge state of cells charged at the low rate the scanner uses or when v
