ProVoice is a proprietary digital system that requires a special codec to receive that most scanners do not have. Uniden has just released an upgrade for the BCD436HP and BCD536HP units that will allow the ProVoice codec to be installed and we do offer the option to purchase this upgrade alongside our Optimization service for those units.
