When will my Programmed Race Scanner ship?

NASCAR programmed scanners ship the same day if ordered M-F prior to 3 pm EST.  If you place your order a Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday your order will ship the next business day.

What you need to know about the SC230

The programming Uniden has pre-installed into the SC230 is 3 years old. Uniden does not update this information into their scanners.  The drivers, their car numbers, and frequencies will all need to be updated.  So, what this means is you will need to program your scanner before it will work at the track.  There are several ways to do this; one is programming the scanner yourself, another is to have a vendor at the track program it for you, or have us program your scanner before it ships.  If you have a vendor at the track program the scanner for you you could be waiting in line for a very long time to be waited on.  By adding the Race Programming to your package you will have updated 2013 Race information in your scanner.  You will be able to turn your scanner on as you are approaching the track and start to hear activity.  You will also receive a quick guide on how to get started using your scanner.

What Uniden has to say about the sound out put on scanners

The audio output is limited on the headphone jack in order to protect hearing. If it needs to be louder, then the user should be using headphones with better noise suppression. I've used a number of different scanners at races and have never had a problem hearing them with no mod (but have always used headphones appropriate to the environment).

What's included with the BC95xlt Race Programming

Sprint Cup Series (NASCAR)

The BC95xlt is only able to hold 200 channels.  Because of this we are only able to program this scanner for one race.  If you would like a scanner that is able to hold more frequencies you should consider the SC230.  We load four races when programming the SC230
