HomePatrol Sentinel IMPORTANT UPDATES
The HomePatrol Sentinel software allows you to update your HomePatrol-1 to use the latest database and firmware. You can also use it to create and manage Favorites Lists. See Sentinel's built-in Help file for details.
The latest version of Sentinel is version 2.02, released on January 7, 2012. Click the link below to download the installer files.

To apply the update, download the zip file and extract it to a directory on your system. Then, navigate to the "setup.exe" file and double-click it to start the update.
***If you choose to have Bearcatwarehouse optimize your new HomePatrol-1 all updated software will be updated to your scanner****

Hone HomePatrol-1's seletion by picking just the types of agencies you want to hear. By default, HomePatrol-1 picks Fire, Ambulance, and Law dispatch channels, but explore to hear even more!

Instructions to update the database in your Homepatrol-1:
- Install and run the included HomePatrol Sentinel software

Select Update à Update Master HPDB. This will update the database in Sentinel. (You do need to be connected to the internet, but you don’t need to be running a browser.)

Select HomePatrol à Write to HomePatrol. This will update the database in the HomePatrol
